We all know that a person can have all the money in the world and still be sick and unhappy. If that person is physically healthy, they will have the ability to engage in life activities; however, if they have money and health, but no spiritual direction in their life, they will still never truly be happy.

That's because a person going through life with no plan is merely living for the moment, and has no sense of a greater purpose. If this is the case, he or she will be easily swayed by the ways of the world, and will be brought down to the level of others (others who are living only for their own self-satisfaction).

It is very hard for a person who lives only for today to experience a sense of peace and fulfillment. This is because money, time, good looks, and possessions are all fleeting. Yes, there are things people can do to hold on to some of these (at least for awhile), such as taking nutritional supplements, having plastic surgery, making wise financial investments; however, in the big scheme of things, the years people have to enjoy these things is very short!
